Directions and Use
Adults: Take 1 capsule 2 times daily with or immediately before a meal or food. Use the smallest effective dose that controls symptoms.
Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
Cautions and Warnings
Contains pork-derived pancreatic enzymes.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have liver, kidney or gall bladder diseases, intestinal obstruction, kidney stones, gallstones, diabetes, a seizure disorder, pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency or cystic fibrosis.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking acetaminophen, other medications or natural health products.
Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
If you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness or confusion, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner, as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/daisy family, the Chenopodiaceae family, or any type or family of seaweed.
Do not use if you have a bile duct obstruction.
Do not use if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or pork proteins. Do not use if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin.
Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, epigastric pain or heartburn have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
